Reflect: The first step of the chemical weapons campaign is to use the resources available to understand the types of chemical weapons and their impact. Think about both where you are based and wider society. How can we make a difference in spreading awareness and understanding?
Step 2
How would you like to raise awareness about the dangers of chemical weapons? Think of powerful, compelling imagery that clearly illustrate the dangers of chemical weapons. Consider the effects of these weapons on people and the environment. Talk to your friends and family to understand what their thoughts are.
Step 3
Once you have your idea, take a photo, selfie or video that embodies the importance of Chemistry For Peace. Remember to download the campaign image above and hold/overlay this on your content to spread the message.
Step 4
Post your image on your social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Tag the ICWU social media account to share your story with others. Include the hashtag #ChemistryForPeace.
